A Method and System for Measuring IPv6 Network Scale Deployment

As the popularity of IPv6 progresses, China's IPv6 network infrastructure scale leads the world. The existing measurement method for IPv6 users based on APNIC has limitations in terms of measurement scope. This article proposes a new technical solution for detecting the scale of IPv6 networks by accessing the telecom network hall homepage through a user's browser, downloading and running an Agent script to download tiny images. Compared with APNIC's measurement method, this method can more accurately reflect the deployment of IPv6 scale in a province or city by statistically analyzing data from a large number of municipal-level users' access.
