Evolutionary Trends on the Blockchain Applications in Modern Power Plant Management

With the continuous development of blockchain technology, blockchain application scenarios in various fields are becoming more and more concrete, and many projects have been successfully applied. However, there is still little research on blockchain in the field of modern power plant. As an advanced technology of distributed bookkeeping, blockchain technology has many advantages of decentralization, strong traceability, high transparency and good security, and it is also in demand in most scenarios of modern power plant. This paper first analyzes the current situation of blockchain technology development in various industries and related mature project cases, and then analyzes in detail the urgent demand scenarios in the modern power plant field. Especially in distributed energy and modern power plant safety monitoring, blockchain technology can serve the development of modern power plant industry more safely, more transparently and more efficiently.
