Modelling of the Solid Electrolyte Interface Growth Using Physics-Based Equivalent Circuit Model

This paper proposes the solid electrolyte interface growth model based on the physics-based equivalent circuit model of the lithium-ion battery. The physics-based equivalent circuit model is a type of the equivalent circuit model that considers electrochemical parameters. The methodology integrates the solid electrolyte interface growth into the circuit-based framework, simulating its effect on the battery. Finally, simulation and experimental results validate the accuracy of the proposed model.
