Smart Hydroponic System: Real Time Monitoring and Early Plant Disease Detection Using IOT and Machine Learning

The growing food demands in the world is a challenge that is difficult to meet using traditional farming methods put together with rising pollution and changes in climatic conditions. A consistent water flow mixed with nutrients in the Hydroponic System circulates through the roots of the plants to ensure maximum nutrient supply and oxygen uptake. In this system, the plants are grown in water and use of soil is almost excluded so this leads to production of organic crops without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides that gives high yield of production as compared to traditional farming methods. The system integrates cuttingedge IOT technologies, sensor networks, and data analytics for exact control of environmental parameters, such as temperature, humidity, pH, and nutrient levels. This ensures optimal monitoring and adjustment to ensure optimal conditions for plant development. Machine learning algorithms are applied in predicting what the plants need and optimizing resource allocation, thus increasing efficiency and sustainability. This new development may transform agriculture-as we knew it-to its core by allowing for production inside buildings 365 days a year, regardless of any adverse climatic condition.
