Developing a Social Skills-Based Framework to Foster Workforce Resilience and Adaptability

In today’s rapidly changing in technology, organizations face immense pressure to adapt and innovate to ensure long-term success, making workforce resilience and adaptability critical priorities. Despite the strategic importance of these traits, many organizations, including office of Chiang Mai University, struggle to bridge the gap between competency development and sustained behavioral change, largely due to fixed mindsets and limited collaboration. This study addresses these challenges by leveraging theoretical frameworks such as growth mindset, icebreaking activities, and design thinking to foster adaptability, teamwork, and innovation. The objective is to develop and implement a social skills-based framework that drives meaningful behavioral transformation. Using a structured methodology, this research conducted workshops emphasizing key attributes like adaptability and teamwork, followed by pre- and post-training assessments. Results demonstrated significant behavioral improvements in trust, teamwork, and self-development, validating the framework’s potential to transform organizational culture and enhance workforce performance.
