Review the Difficulties, Concerns and Application Range of the Ultra-Wide Band Microstrip Patch Antenna

Over the past ten years, research on broadband and ultra-wideband antennas has been discussed in this article. Various techniques were used to increase the antenna's impedance bandwidth. Several techniques were used to expand the impedance bandwidth of the antenna. There is discussion on the characteristics, applications, and scope. Numerous issues are noted and addressed, as well as potential fixes. We discuss a number of techniques, including the slotting technique, electromagnetic-band gap (EBG) structures, parasitic patches, various ground structures, multilayer structures, harmonic suppression techniques, radiating patches and ground structures of different shapes, multiple laminated conductors, and many more.
