A Lossless Grounded/Floating Active Inductor Employing Single DV-DXCCTA

In this paper, a new lossless grounded and floating active inductance simulator by employing a single Differential Voltage Dual – X Current Conveyor Transconductance Amplifier (DV-DXCCTA) active element and an external grounded capacitor is introduced. The presented inductance simulator utilizes two transconductance parameters (gm1, gm2) for the electronically tunable nature of the proposed inductor. The functionality test of the proposed simulator circuits is verified using 0.18 μm TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) CMOS technology parameter and experimental verification with the help of traditional ICs specially Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) as AD844 and Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) as CA3080 for DV-DXCCTA realization. Some useful signal processing applications viz. Single Input Triple Output (SITO) filter, and higher-order low-pass filter are critically examined by using the proposed inductor.
