A Prototype of an Intelligent Door Lock Device with Hybrid Security Integration

The traditional smart locks available on the market are externally accessible, single-stage devices that pose potential risks of physical damage and hacking, primarily due to their visibility to the outside. To mitigate these challenges, we propose a prototype for a two-stage door lock system, comprising a Primary Lock followed by a Main Lock, integrating a hybrid smart security verification process. This model utilizes RFID and Bluetooth HC05 modules for authentication at the Primary Stage Security System (PSSS), which governs access to the Primary Door (external). Additionally, it implements a fingerprint scanner and voice recognition modules for authorization at the Secondary Stage Security System (SSSS), which controls access to the Main Door (internal). The requirement for mandatory user credential verification at both access stages enhances the security and robustness of this smart lock system.
