User Interface Design of TUS Mart E-Commerce Website Using Design Thinking and Kansei Engineering

This study explores the development of TUS MART, an e-commerce website for agricultural products, by integrating Kansei Engineering and design thinking methodologies. As online shopping continues to grow, this research aims to create a functional and emotionally satisfying interface. Kansei Engineering focuses on addressing users' emotional needs, while design thinking involves stages such as empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing. The interface's usability was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS). This study demonstrates the successful application of Kansei Engineering and design thinking to enhance e-commerce user interfaces, providing insights for future research and practical applications in user experience and interface design. The results indicate that the “Refreshing” concept effectively meets user expectations. The results of the TUS Mart website, which has developed a usability test using the System Usability Scaling, obtained a score of 85.59 and are in the good to excellent range.
