Influence of Technology Adoption and Internet Security on Satisfaction and Investment Decision Quality

In the rapidly evolving financial sector, technological advancements play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction (CS), stakeholder satisfaction (SS), and the quality of investment decisions (IDQ). However, the effectiveness of these advancements is significantly influenced by the robustness of internet security (IS). This study addresses a critical research gap by investigating the moderating role of internet security in the relationship between technology adoption (TA) and satisfaction metrics, as well as investment decision quality. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through SmartPLS, data from key stakeholders in Indonesia’s financial sector was analyzed to uncover significant relationships between these variables. The findings reveal that technology adoption positively influences customer and stakeholder satisfaction, and improves the quality of investment decisions. Furthermore, strong internet security amplifies these positive outcomes, highlighting its essential role in maximizing the benefits of technological innovations. These insights offer valuable implications for financial institutions in optimizing technology investments while ensuring secure operations.
