Trust‐Based Leader Election in Flying Ad‐Hoc Network

Summary

In the network of drones, the communication channel is extremely important, especially in terms of design. The standpoint of various types of UAV entities mostly relies on this communication path; it facilitates cooperation and participation among the UAVs. Strengthening inter‐UAV‐based collaboration may strengthen the concept of trust inside a network. Therefore, based on the trust score, creating a malicious node from the network is possible in order to create a trustworthy inter‐UAV data link. A trust‐based FANET network leader drone nomination methodology is described in this paper. The reliable approach employed by the technology aims to keep risky UAVs out of FANET. Based on the calculated trust scores, a secure Cluster leader is chosen to manage center station communication in addition to communication. According to the methodology of the proposed model, this scheme may be said to be efficient and to perform more consistently than the other current methods in any challenging condition.
