If we perform research as part of our work or our studies, we can harness ChatGPT's power to complete that research more quickly. This chapter looks at how to prompt ChatGPT to summarize articles we might want to read, analyze data we've captured, and suggest topics connected to the topics we're researching. It also covers how to prompt ChatGPT to generate research questions for us and how to enlist ChatGPT's help to design experiments. If we enable the Web Browsing Model, ChatGPT can summarize articles on the web, provided they are not hidden behind paywalls or otherwise restricted. ChatGPT can be a valuable resource when we need to generate research questions to probe an area of interest. The chapter also presents some example prompts for designing an experiment.
