Research on Clock Disciplining and Holdover Technology Based on BDS

A precise clock source is critical for the stable operation of many essential infrastructure systems, especially mobile communication systems that require strict and accurate time slot isolation and phase synchronization. This paper demonstrates high-precision clock disciplining and holdover technology. 1PPS (1 Pulse Per Second) time reference was extracted from the BDS (Beidou Navigation Satellite System) as the reference source. This approach effectively improves the frequency accuracy and long-term frequency stability of the OCXO (Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator). The frequency accuracy of the local clock is improved from 1.4E-10 to 9.16E-13. After the reference source is interrupted, the clock holdover algorithm is used to realize the high-precision clock adaptive holdover of the OCXO for a long time, and the maximum phase deviation within 24 hours does not exceed 1.029 μs,
