Adapting the Competencies of Specialists in the Field of Electrical Engineering, Communications and Informatization to the Requirements of Scientific and Technological Development

The high dynamism and multifaceted nature of scientific and technological progress, especially in the field of information technology, dictate the need to form professional competencies adequate to the real requirements of the intellectual world. The article is devoted to the study of the prospects for the development of information technology, the identification of the main factors affecting the competencies of specialists in the field of electrical engineering, information communications, and the definition of a package of their modern and promising key professional competencies. Based on the analysis of the compliance of the requirements of the new technological order with the emerging competencies, conclusions were drawn about the expediency of developing system-intellectual competencies based on deeper immersion in managerial and commercial problems and the use of new tools and approaches to learning.
