Research on Standards for Grid-Connected Power Regulation of Photovoltaic Power Stations in China

With the continuous increase in the proportion of installed Photovoltaic (PV) power stations (PVPS) in China, the qualification rate of PVPS participating in the rapid power regulation of the power grid will become increasingly important for the safe and stable operation of the power grid. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system and the safety of PVPS grid connection, it is urgent to summarize various standards and requirements related to PVPS grid connection power regulation. This article conducts research and analysis on existing national standards, industry standards, and State Grid Corporation standards in China, including grid adaptability and safety protection, active power climbing speed, inertia response, primary frequency regulation, AGC control, reactive power capacity configuration, reactive power support during voltage ride through, primary voltage regulation, and AVC control. The index requirements for grid connected power regulation related testing of PVPS are extracted, which can provide reference for the testing indicators required for rapid power regulation testing of PVPS in China in the future.
