Smart Health Checkup Portable Device for Monitoring Patients

The Smart Health Check-up Portable Device addresses the issues related to multiple chronic conditions by measuring heart rate, SpO2, temperature, and position of a patient. Using the MAX30100 sensor with photoplethysmography for accurate heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, the device gives reliable measurements of patients' vital signs. A thermistor is used for temperature measurement, an accelerometer will continuously monitor the patient's positioning and possible tremors, thus a full health overview is provided. Unlike single-parameter devices, the multi-parameter monitoring solution processes its data in real-time display from an LCD screen. This enables immediate feedback for both patients and caregivers. In this regard, alarm systems are necessary to alert caregivers when something abnormal has been read or if the positioning of the patient is disturbed therefore ensuring timely interventions that enhance patient safety and well-being. The project plan is centered on proper testing, in the hope that everything will go well in the real world; the work is aimed at the betterment of healthcare services for patients with complex medical records. Future upgrades will include incorporating accurate cholesterol and blood glucose tracking through minor punctures of the fingertip with live feedback. Access to health information, history, and further communication with healthcare providers will be possible using a dedicated mobile application. Other improvements will be AI-based risk predictions and lifestyle options that are customized to include secure cloud-based data storage. It supports telemedicine meetings and can be held up as an all-around healthcare system.
