Improving Gain and Impedance Bandwidth of an E-Patch Microstrip Antenna operating at 6.6GHz

The first option for wireless communication systems is the Microstrip Patch Antenna (MPA), which has several advantages like being inexpensive, lightweight, and simple to configure. This paper discusses the construction of an optimized E-shaped patch antenna with ideal dimensions for wireless applications operating at 6.6 GHz to improve Gain and Bandwidth. This method is used to enhance gain and widen impedance bandwidth. This work contributes to reducing the difficulties that arise in the design and development of relatively small-sized microstrip patch antennas. This antenna’s primary uses are for Wi-Fi and WiMAX. The antenna’s performance is described by a number of parameters, including radiation pattern, band width, gain, and return loss. The MATLAB 2023 is the simulation software that was utilized to determine them.
