Innovative Production of AI Digital Films and Applications of Information Technology

During the playback of moving shots in traditional 24FPS (Frames Per Second) films, stuttering and flickering often occur, significantly affecting the audience’s viewing experience. To effectively address this issue, it is necessary to increase the frame rate to 70FPS. However, the current film industry lacks an interpolation technique specifically tailored to the characteristics of films. To this end, this study proposes an AI-based film frame interpolation algorithm that integrates motion modeling and motion feature algorithms to ensure that the interpolated frames are consistent with the original frames before interpolation. This algorithm enhances the film’s frame rate while maintaining the consistency of the shot language. Simulation results demonstrate that this technology can effectively improve the quality and efficiency of the production process for high-tech format films, providing audiences with a unique viewing experience.
