The Study on Professional Quality of Counselors in Higher Vocational Colleges in China Based on CiteSpace

To understand the current situation of the research on the professional quality of counselors in higher vocational colleges in China, the CiteSpace analysis method was used to make classified statistics and comparative analysis on the publication time, research hotspots, research methods, authors and institutions, literature citations and so on. The results show: The existing research on the quality of counselors in higher vocational colleges has the problems of single research method, insufficient depth and insufficient quality. Based on the characteristics of students in higher vocational colleges, such as low cultural level, low action consciousness and pursuit of fresh trends, Empirical research methods should be employed to conduct in-depth and practical studies on the improvement of counselors' professional abilities, especially in terms of their ideological leadership and innovative development capabilities, in order to enhance the quality of research.
