Exploring the Blended Teaching Mode of Machine Learning by Integrating CDIO Engineering Concept

With the development of information technology in education and Internet technology, the adoption of online and offline blended teaching mode has become an important means of modernization of higher education. In order to cultivate students' data thinking ability, engineering practice ability and theoretical innovation ability, this paper focuses on the problems faced by the teaching of machine learning course, carries out an exploratory reform of the course teaching mode, organically integrates CDIO into the whole process of teaching and implementation, and puts forward the teaching program of machine learning course. Specifically, it introduces how to clarify the teaching goal of "student-centered", design the knowledge hierarchy and teaching process integrating CDIO, plan the blended teaching mode of online and offline. This paper also concludes how to explore innovative practice teaching oriented to competition cases, cultivate students' teamwork and innovation spirit with collaborative learning led by innovative design projects, and comprehensively enhance students' machine learning knowledge and practice ability to better cultivate data thinking and strengthen engineering practice ability, and integration of multi-disciplinary data application to cultivate students' theoretical innovation ability, effectively support the subsequent course learning of computer-related majors, so as to explore the new path of cultivating high-quality composite applied talents.
