Investigation of Formal Verification of Autonomous Vehicle Control Systems Through Specification Translation from Cafeobj to Real-Time Maude

This study investigates the formal specification and verification of autonomous vehicle control systems through specification translation between CafeOBJ and Real-Time Maude. The research models the autonomous vehicle control system as a hybrid au-tomaton to capture both continuous and discrete dynamics. By leveraging the strengths of theorem proving with CafeOBJ and model checking with Real-Time Maude, this approach aims to enhance the safety and reliability of autonomous vehicle systems. The study demonstrates the efficacy of this method in confirming the safety properties of the control system, providing a robust framework for future development and validation of autonomous driving technologies.
