A Gain and Slew Rate Enhanced Recycling Folded Cascode Operational Amplifier

An improved folded cascode operational amplifier with current-recycling architecture has been proposed. This operational amplifier employs a current-multiplying architecture, with an added output stage to enhance gain. Additionally, a dynamic control unit has been integrated to improve the circuit’s slew rate. Designed and validated using a $0.18 \mu \mathrm{~m}$ CMOS process, simulation results indicate that the low-frequency gain of the proposed amplifier is 93.12 dB, with a gain-bandwidth product (GBW) of 2.6 MHz and an average slew rate of $26.97 \mathrm{MV} / \mathrm{s}$. Compared to the traditional structure, the gain has been increased by a factor of 9, and the slew rate has been enhanced by a factor of 21.
