Research on Reliability Improvement based on a Certain Type of Control System

Reliability is one of the important quality characteristics in control system, which reflects the ability of a product to complete the specified function in the specified task. MTBF (mean time between failures) is usually used as the measurement of system reliability. The greater the MTBF, the higher the reliability of the system and the higher the probability of maintaining the integrity of the functional performance during the use of the product. This paper presents a design method to improve the reliability of a certain type of control system, which can effectively improve the reliability of this type of system. By improving the reliability of a certain type of control system, adding redundant backup and alternative working mode, the reliability model of the control system is upgraded from serial type to parallel-serial hybrid model, and the expected reliability MTBF increases enormously, effectively improving the reliability of the whole control system. To ensure the integrity of the system function, as well as to improve the ability of the system to complete the specified task.
