Design of Monitoring and Battery Swapping System at Public Electric Vehicle Battery Charging Stations

This paper presents the design of a monitoring and battery swapping system for Public Electric Vehicle Battery Charging Stations. The system aims to provide an efficient and user-friendly solution for electric vehicle battery replacement, thereby enhancing convenience for users and promoting the adoption of electric vehicles. The design consists of three main components: a battery storage unit for maintaining fully charged batteries, a battery swapping mechanism for automated battery exchange, and a monitoring unit to track battery status, including charge level, health, and temperature. The system incorporates advanced communication infrastructure to link all components with a central control unit, enabling real-time monitoring and effective battery management. The proposed design also considers safety aspects, such as temperature control and secure handling of batteries, ensuring reliability and minimizing risks. By implementing this integrated solution, the system is expected to streamline the battery swapping process, reduce waiting times, and increase the overall efficiency of Public Electric Vehicle Battery Charging Stations operations.
