Comparative Analysis of the Use of PMU and RPA Devices in the Function of Monitoring the Condition of Power Equipment

To date, the development of methods and software and hardware complexes (SHC) for calculating the parameters of power equipment replacement schemes is actively underway. The preferred approach in this direction is precisely that particular case of calculating parameters, which will be carried out online, i.e. without the need to take the equipment out of working condition, and, consequently, without causing damage to the consumer due to a power outage, as well as with a reduced cost of measures to take the equipment out of working condition. In this case, the TT/VT-PMU bundle acts as the main element of processing and measuring network currents and voltages, due to such advantages of the PMU as high-precision and high-speed measurement of current and voltage vectors of the network point.
