Enhancing Mobility With Next-Generation Partial Hand Prosthesis Using Arduino Uno and Flex Sensors

The proposed work delves into the comprehensive design, development, and evaluation process of a 3D printed prosthetic arm, employing servo motors controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller to enable gesture mimicry through flex sensors integrated into a wearable glove. The primary objective is to provide an affordable and accessible solution for individuals with upper limb disabilities. The paper outlines the intricacies of the design process, system architecture, programming nuances, and rigorous testing procedures, showcasing promising results in terms of gesture accuracy, adaptability, and user-friendliness.
