Transformer Oil Valve Torque Measurement and Model Construction

Currently, regular oil sampling and testing for oil-immersed transformers face several challenges, where manual operation not only risks misjudging the transformer's operating state but also poses a threat to personnel safety. To address the torque control issues during the robot's oil extraction process, this study designed and constructed a torque measurement test platform. Experiments were conducted on valve caps with different pre-tightening forces to loosen the valves. By analyzing the torque characteristic curves during the twisting process, a torque model for the transformer oil valve was constructed under known pre-tightening conditions. Verification showed that the torque calculated by this model closely matches the actual torque applied during twisting.
