Application of Big Data in Pharma 4.0

The role of Big Data in this paper is illustrated through the application of the Pharma 4.0 model, which represents the automation of technological systems within the framework of Industry 4.0 concepts in the pharmaceutical field. This concept includes smart medicines, smart tests, smart medical devices, smart services, and more. As an example of best practices, the implementation of this model is demonstrated in the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia (RS-ALIMS).
