Development of High-Quality Saccade-Based Line Display Considering Perceptual Sensitivity

A large size saccade-based line display observed at more than 15m with high-quality images considering perceptual sensitivity has been developed. To achieve high-quality performance, the flashing of 128-chip LEDs driven by high-speed LED driver ICs was controlled by PIC microcontrollers using direct memory access and SPI communication.
