Operator-economical optimal scheduling considering peak-to-valley spread gains of energy storage stations

This paper proposes to sell power operator to configure energy storage plant to meet customer load demand by purchasing power from power producers. In order to respond positively to the national policy, for renewable energy generation, the operator adopts the strategy of priority pricing purchase. In order to verify the role of energy storage plant in peak and valley arbitrage, thermal power units adopt marginal cost pricing, which forms a price difference with the selling price of electricity, enabling the operator to obtain the price difference revenue through the energy storage plant. The result proves that under this power purchase and sale model, in a typical day, the operator is able to gain an additional 13622.4CNY through the energy storage plant.
