Development and Application of Energy Management System for GW level Energy Storage Power Station

With the rapid development of renewable energy and the increasing demand for electricity, the energy management system of GW level energy storage stations plays a crucial role in the modern energy structure. This article aims to explore the development and application of energy management systems for GW level energy storage power stations. Firstly, the classification and working principle of energy storage systems were analyzed, and then the development process of energy management systems was introduced, including the architecture design of GW level energy management systems, network design, and the architecture design of monitoring system data acquisition and control. Subsequently, a detailed study was conducted on the optimization control method of energy storage combined with new energy based on real-time deviation correction, including tracking and scheduling power control technology, power prediction error compensation technology, new energy peak shifting and valley filling technology, automatic formulation strategy of optimal charging and discharging mechanism, and software and hardware integration technology. This article analyzes the practical application effect of GW level energy management system through examples. Finally, this article summarizes the advantages of GW level energy management systems and provides prospects for future development trends. Research has shown that GW level energy storage management systems can effectively improve energy utilization efficiency, optimize grid operation, promote the widespread application of renewable energy, and have broad application prospects.
