A two-layer distributed energy control strategy considering grid voltage stability

Access to a high percentage of interval new energy has a huge impact on the stability of the distribution network. In this paper, a two-layer control strategy is proposed to enhance the voltage stability of distribution networks. The dual-level controls are implemented at the top and bottom levels. The higher level stabilizes the voltage and determines the overall effective/reactive power of the stored power plant group when the voltage at each node meets the safe operating conditions and the voltage deviation is minimized. The bottom layer optimally allocates the top layer operation results and considers the distributed energy storage aggregator operation economy and new energy utilization rate to allocate power to each energy storage power station. The controlled process is executed on a temporal scale and the operation results are transmitted to the energy reserve detection and control modules. The module then identifies the mode of operation and distribution of power for individual energy storage devices based on the status of each energy-stored device in real-time. The proposed control strategy is validated in the IEEE 33 node system and the results of storage power allocation are calculated using particle swarm algorithm. The results show that the time-scale-based controlled strategy for two-tier stored energy plants is reasonable and effective.
