A Method for Identifying Broken Wires in Relay Protection Secondary Circuits Based on BeiDou Positioning Technology

Conventional secondary circuit disconnection identification methods are mainly based on fault signal extraction, and there are certain limitations in disconnection identification, which affect the accuracy of identification. Therefore, a method of relay protection secondary circuit broken wire identification based on BeiDou positioning technology is designed. The power response characteristics of relay protection secondary circuit disconnection are extracted, and the abnormal situations such as current, voltage mutation and signal transmission interruption are recognized to preliminarily determine whether the secondary circuit is disconnected or not. Based on the BeiDou positioning technology, the secondary circuit disconnection identification model is constructed, using BeiDou positioning technology to determine the location information of the key nodes in the secondary circuit, and then quickly identify the disconnected nodes when the disconnected features are detected. Identify the communication status of the secondary circuit of relay protection, and realize the precise identification of the disconnection of the secondary circuit by identifying the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the signal transmission of the secondary circuit. Comparative experiments are used to verify that the method has higher recognition accuracy and can be applied in real life.
