The Comprehensive Review of Different Categories, Applications, and Methods Used In Healthcare Recommender System

Nowadays, in the digital world, healthcare stands out as one of the most prominent domains in the health field. A healthcare system (HS) is essential for studying a vast quantity of patient records, aiding in deriving insights and assisting in the prediction of diseases. The Healthcare Recommendation System (HRS) is emerging as a vital platform for medical services. This review article provides a comprehensive analysis of existing recommendation methods, including content-based, collaborative, hybrid, etc. The main focus of the article is to offer a review of Recommender Systems (RS) in healthcare. It delves into distinct methods used for healthcare RSs, such as clustering-based, regression, and classification-based methods like CNN, SVD, etc. Existing classification-based HRS methods have achieved the maximum accuracy rate compared to other methods.
