Risk Analysis Study of Multi-Scenario Fire Accidents for Oil Storage Tank Area

Oil storage tank area has a large centralized storage capacity, and due to its flammable and explosive nature, it is susceptible to a variety of fire accidents during the production, storage and transportation process. In order to better assess the accident risk level of petrochemical enterprises and take matching and effective emergency measures, a more accurate risk assessment model is constructed based on the Bayesian network. The chain development process of accident spatio-temporal evolution based on domino effect is considered, and the probability and consequence of 8 accident types are summarized and refined. The results show that the emergence of the domino effect leads to an increase in the accident risk value by a factor of 15.7 to 63.9 compared with the fire risk assessment of a single storage tank. The method can effectively improve the accuracy of the multi-scenario accident risk assessment system for storage tank clusters and improve the safety management level of petrochemical enterprises.
