Cross Wind Stabilisation using Motor Control

This paper represents an advanced crosswind stabilization method. Vehicle safety technology such as rear-view mirrors, airbags, child car seats, and seatbelts has improved significantly, while the challenge of powerful crosswinds remains the same. Anyone who has traveled through highways has experienced powerful crosswinds at one point or another. These gusts can pose a serious threat at high speeds, leading to lane deviations. The crosswind stabilization technology implemented here uses special sensors to detect strong wind gusts, their direction, and their angle. Mathematical formulas are used to calculate the speed, acceleration, and velocity that will stabilize the car by applying a brake on the windy side of the vehicle.
