Research on the Joint Dispatch Model of Industrial Adjustable Loads Participating in the Electricity and Ancillary Services Market

Industrial adjustable loads, with their substantial energy requirements, distinct patterns of electricity usage, advanced infrastructure, and extensive production resources, play a vital role in alleviating grid pressure. Industrial production is closely linked to energy demand, and managing it effectively can significantly enhance the system's operational flexibility. This paper employs the resource-task network method to transform the resources and temporal constraints in industrial production into a mathematical model. It constructs a joint dispatch model for industrial loads participating in both the electricity and ancillary services markets, such as frequency regulation and spinning reserves. The study focuses on a complex steel powder manufacturing plant to validate the model's effectiveness. The results demonstrate that this approach not only reduces the energy costs for industrial users but also provides auxiliary services to the grid.
