Automated Smart Cart for Physically Challenged

In recent years we have seen a lot of research and development in the fields of automation and embedded systems, with the goal of improving and reducing the labour of the workforce in both industry and public spaces like airports, trains for automatic ticket collection, and metro buses. In this paper a method called automatic tram carrier navigation and the payment system to help build greater automation and assist to the elderly, disabled and blind people is proposed. This approach can be used at all malls, large clothes stores, home appliance stores, etc. It eliminates the need for clients to stand in a long queue, and automatic billing is feasible. Additionally, by providing details on the product, quantity, price, automatic invoicing, etc., it promotes the purchase of goods in shopping malls for blind, elderly, and handicapped customers. To identify the name, price, and quantity of each product, an RFID reader is used to read the EPIC tag ID. The micro-controller receives information from the RFID reader based on the RF signal, which is then used to identify the products and their quantities and prices. The object and any barriers are both detected using the ultrasonic sensor. The load of the trolley to carry the weight is also taken for consideration.
