Matrix theory based stability analysis of a power system

This paper outlines a detailed approach to assessing system stability using Eigenvalue analysis, emphasizing the calculation of Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors. The process entails deriving the Jacobian matrix using the Newton-Raphson method for Power Flow analysis. The project concludes with a discussion on the potential advantages of employing Eigen value analysis for stability assessment in power systems.The standard 5-Bussystem is considered to analyze the proposed methodology. MATLAB software is employed for simulation purpose.
