PROXY: Personal Revenue Organization & Xpense Yardstick

College students frequently experience significant issues in managing their personal funds due to a lack of financial knowledge. Existing financial management systems do not adequately address students' specific needs, resulting in overspending, missing payments, and financial stress. To address this issue, we propose PROXY, a smartphone application built exclusively to assist students in managing their budgets, tracking costs, and meeting savings objectives. The app's primary features include manual spending monitoring, budget management, and bill reminders, automatic bank integration, enhanced financial insights, and gamification. The app's goal is to improve students' financial health and reduce stress by promoting good financial habits. The paper highlights the app's development, main features, and potential future possibilities, emphasizing its usefulness in promoting financial awareness among students.
