Measurement and analysis of battery alternating-current impedance by vector network analyzer

In the life cycle of the battery, its alternating-current (AC) impedance will change with the change of the internal parameters of the battery. Therefore, the AC impedance characteristics of the battery can be used to evaluate the internal state and parameter changes of the battery, thus realizing the detection and analysis of the battery performance. In this paper, different AC impedance testing methods of vector network analyzer are analyzed, and the AC impedance testing scheme of vector network analyzer battery is designed according to the sample characteristics, and then the AC impedance amplitude, phase, real part and imaginary part of batteries with different capacities and voltages are tested and analyzed according to the scheme. In addition, this paper summarizes the shortcomings and improvements of this test, and looks forward to the related work that can be carried out in the future.
