Autonomous Firefighting Robot for Enhanced Fire Detection and Suppression

Fire-related emergencies in public spaces pose significant risks to human life and property, necessitating rapid and efficient intervention systems. This paper presents an autonomous firefighting robot designed to address these challenges by integrating real-time fire detection, obstacle navigation, and suppression capabilities. The robot employs flame sensors for precise fire localization, ultrasonic sensors for dynamic obstacle avoidance, and an ESP8266 module for cloud-based communication, ensuring real-time alerts to emergency personnel. Experimental evaluations demonstrate the robot's ability to detect fires within a range of 2 meters with 95% accuracy and effectively extinguish Class A fires within 15 seconds. This paper addresses the need for rapid fire detection and suppression in public spaces. Experimental results validate the robot's ability to minimize response time, reduce risks to human lives, and ensure efficient suppression in indoor environments. This system provides a low-power, scalable, and efficient solution for enhancing fire safety in complex environments, such as malls and industrial buildings, while minimizing human intervention.
