Channel Characterization and Modeling of Intra-Body to External-Body Wireless Communications at 2.4 GHz

Body area wireless channel simulation is becoming more and more important due to the development of implantable medical devices, however, most of the current channel simulation methods only focus on a part of the body area channel and ignore the electromagnetic interference in the environment. In order to quickly and realistically simulate the channel of an implantable device, we propose an intra-body to external-body channel simulation method under multi-source electromagnetic interference, which collects data through a finite integration technique in the time domain for the fitting of empirical formulas of the path loss, and then sets up a variety of neighboring frequency interference sources for simulation. We adjust the transmit power of the implantable device according to the SINR to minimize the energy consumption while ensuring the communication quality.
