Electric Vehicle Monitoring System

The performance of electric vehicle (EV) batteries is evaluated using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, as discussed in this article. The article describes the development of a real-time “fuel gauge” for electric vehicle (EV) batteries and presents a scalable method for measuring the voltage of each battery cell during charging. Since EVs rely entirely on battery power, performance degradation over time is a significant concern for battery manufacturers. To overcome this issue, this paper suggests a direct monitoring system that makes use of IoT technology. The monitoring device and the user interface make up the two primary parts of the suggested Internet of Things- based battery monitoring system. According to experimental findings, the system is capable of identifying reduced battery performance and informing the user of the need for additional action. In additionally simulation of entire setup is done in proteus software tools.
