Augmenting Sensor Driven AI Assistive Technologies For Non-Verbal Communication in Paralyzed Patients

This research paper focuses on ethical considerations surrounding sensor-based communication methods for Paralytic patients with severe impairments. It also highlights the ethical challenges and considerations that arise when applying sensor-based communication systems for individuals with severe impairments. It shows the importance of providing effective sensory feedback through personalized approach with compact, flexible, and wearable technologies such as sensory gadgets. The findings mainly focus on real time sensory feedback generated by patient and initially what type of body parts can be integrated practically to optimize a better cater to the needs of paralytic patients. This research paper focuses on practical use of flexible, compact, and wearable sensor-driven AI assistive technologies for non-linguistic communication in Paralytic patients. The paper discusses sensors embedded with software applications to improve communication who have limited or no verbal abilities. The findings open the communication gateway to be more effective and personalized communication options for Paralytic patients, ultimately improving their quality of life interaction.
