RIS-Aided Integrated Sensing and Computing Communication: Frontier Advances and Prospects

In particular, RIS-assisted semantic communication and integrated communication-sensing systems enable multi-dimensional, in-depth applications, gradually becoming a dominant trend in sixth-generation (6G) intelligent communication and sensing technologies. This article focuses on the technological advantages of RIS in current integrated scenarios and its application prospects in future communication networks. It introduces cutting-edge research advancements and forecasts in RIS-assisted communication, sensing, and computing integration, highlighting security conflict avoidance methods for sensitive information scenarios, joint optimization methods for RIS-based multimodal information fusion, and intelligent algorithm adaptation mechanisms for RIS-assisted communication-sensing systems.
