Data-Driven Analysis of Six-Point-Five-Segment Energy Loss in Photovoltaic Power Plants

To address the current issues of imprecise monitoring and insufficient in-depth research on key equipment at photovoltaic (PV) power plants within group management, a group-level smart operation and maintenance platform has been constructed based on the "Six-Point-Five-Segment" energy loss analysis method. This platform focuses on analyzing the electricity loss at the plant side, primarily centered around inverters and string inverters. This allows for the determination of energy losses within each segment and between different segments of the system. By analyzing the magnitude of energy losses, the overall operational status of the system can be assessed. The lost electricity is further broken down by considering factors such as equipment operating conditions, external environment, and cumulative impacts. This detailed analysis enables maintenance personnel to "target the problem" and implement appropriate corrective measures to eliminate faults, reduce power generation losses, and achieve improved efficiency and quality.
