End Vibration Suppression of the Lower Filling System for Oil Tank Trucks based on Fuzzy PID

The residual vibration at the end of the lower filling system for oil tank trucks directly affects the accuracy of docking. Therefore, a fuzzy PID-based vibration suppression strategy is proposed. First, modeling of a hydraulic cylinder system controlled by valves is carried out for the lower filling system for oil tanker trucks, including the establishment of transfer functions for electro-hydraulic servo valves and hydraulic cylinders. Then a controller based on fuzzy PID is designed by fuzzifying the input and output variables and designing fuzzy control rules. Finally, simulation and analysis of interference suppression are carried out based on Simulink. The test shows that compared to the basic PID algorithm, the response speed of the proposed PID algorithm has been improved by 70.79%, the maximum overshoot has been reduced by 50.81%, and the stability efficiency has been improved by 76.58%. In addition, after external interference, its overshoot has been reduced by 68.31%, and the stability efficiency has been improved by 71.14%. The above performance comparison shows that the fuzzy PID algorithm has good anti-interference ability. The docking accuracy of the filling system is guaranteed.
