Design and research of 5G network architecture and typical application scenarios for pumped storage power stations

With the continuous increase of installed capacity of pumped storage power station, the difficulty of operation, maintenance and monitoring of pumped storage power station also increases. 5G, as a new generation of mobile communication technology, has greatly improved in all aspects compared with 4G technology. Therefore, the combination of 5G communication technology and pumped storage power stations can bring many performance improvements in terms of operation capacity, safety and stability. Combined with the problem of insufficient monitoring capacity of the current pumped storage power station, this paper analyzes and designs the application scenarios and application functions of the pumped storage power station under the scenarios, and analyzes the requirements of the network communication capability of the scenarios according to the application scenarios. The monitoring system architecture of pumped storage power station based on 5G communication is designed to meet the current needs of the power station, and the network architecture of pumped storage power station based on 5G communication is designed in combination with 5G and other technologies, and its feasibility and superiority are proved by comparing with traditional schemes. The current control requirements of pumped storage power stations are analyzed, and a new internal control scheme of power stations is designed based on 5G related technologies. In the scenario based on 5G communication, a new control method of pumped storage power station is designed. First, a new bus net load prediction algorithm is designed based on regional characteristics, which is more targeted than the traditional method using regional characteristics respectively. Secondly, according to the guideline control method, the inverter power is allocated according to the current power of the sample inverter, which is safer than the direct average allocation. Finally, for the inverter power climbing scenario, a new maximum power tracking method is proposed combined with Adam gradient algorithm. This method not only utilizes the low delay capability of 5G communication, but also reduces the local climbing process, so that the inverter can quickly achieve power climbing. The superiority of this method is proved by simulation.
