Android-based Community Supported Agriculture System for Grape Farmers

Grapes are one of the plantation commodities with a large potential in Indonesia because Indonesia has land that is suitable for growing grapes. Some challenges faced by grape farmers include pests and diseases, weather conditions, cultivation techniques, and limited access to information. By utilizing increasingly developed technology, it is hoped that it will make it easier for grape farmers to access information so that they can minimize the effects of existing challenges. This article discusses a system that aims to be a forum for the discussion and marketing of grape farmers. This system was created for the Android platform using the Kotlin programming language for data storage and the Firebase Firestore database. This system has a message exchange feature, a list of articles, a discussion column, and a catalog for marketing products from grape farmers. It is hoped that this system will help grape farmers face the challenges mentioned above.
